Summer is over, but the hot & fun gimmicks of noontime shows never stop.

At Eat Bulaga, an unlikely love team called “AlDub” is adding a new dimension of fun to its “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment.

The AlDub “love team” refers to GMA-7 actor Alden Richards and Yaya Dub, who is tagged as the Dubsmash queen of the Philippines because of her viral dubsmash videos.

Maine Mendoza, the stern assistant of Donya Nidora (played by Wally Bayola), appeared to be smitten with Alden Richards during one of their exchanges in the segment “Juan for All, All for Juan.”

Yaya Dub was visibly affected by kilig since she blushed, flashed her eyelashes, and her smirkish countenance (which was part of her Yaya Dub characterization) gave way to shy smiles.

What girl wouldn’t be mesmerized by Alden Richards’ cute dimples and charming boyish looks, anyway?

Here are five things we love about the brewing love team:

1. It blossomed out of fun and teenage style teasing.

Noontime shows have had its share of controversial relationships that develop between its hosts but the Alden & Yaya Dub loveteam is spared from this showbiz stereotype. It started out in the open, the first spark happened on-cam and the kilig factor is there without any controversy.

2. Their qualities complement each other like yin and yang.

Yaya Dub might be ordinary looking but she’s definitely charming. She has a face that is as hilariously expressive as Jim Carrey’s. Alden Richards, on the other hand, is one of the cutest faces in showbiz. He has boyish charm and a sparkling smile. His cherubic looks will be a perfect balance to Yaya Dub’s loud and strong personality. A reminder to girls: it’s not your physical beauty that matters. It’s your personality, it’s your character.

3. It’s like a fairy tale.

Commoner girl meets prince charming. Before her Yaya Dub stint at Eat Bulaga, Maine was just like any ordinary girl without any inkling she’ll be famous. (Though she admitted in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho that it’s her secret dream to become a celebrity.) When her videos were just making their way to social media fame, Alden is already one of GMA-7’S top leading men. So it’s kind of a reminder to ordinary girls out there that your showbiz guy crush is not really impossible to reach.

4. They express themselves through hilarious and creative Dubsmash videos.

Alden Richards is using Instagram by posting his own dubsmash video (with the song “Bahala Na”) to send some love notes to Yaya Dub, who immediately responded with her own IG post. Yaya Dub is so true to herself she admits feeling kilig because of Alden’s post.

5. They’re spreading “kilig vibes.”

And kilig vibes are good vibes. Amidst a day full of stress and negativities, we love people who spread good vibes.

As the hashtag says, #kiligpamore.
