It’s Showtime host and Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda is still on cloud nine after a special Valentine date with partner and fellow host Ion Perez.

Taking to social media, Vice shared behind-the-scenes moments of Ion’s preparations for their intimate at-home celebration.

“Still not over this spontaneous Valentine Date with you babe,” Vice said.

He then recounted how they found creative ways to celebrate the occasion after struggling to secure a dinner reservation.

“Yung mahjong table na ginawang dining table. Ung pasta na pinadeliver lang. and yung Christmas lights na kinalat lang sa sahig. Ung andaming nangyari from 6-8 pm dahil wala kang mapabook na restaurant. At may nakuha pang violinist. Hahaha!” Vice shared.

Despite the last-minute preparations, Ion’s thoughtful gesture made the night even more special for them, especially Vice.

“Lahat biglaan lang. Pero may isang nakahanda ….ung bulaklak mo para sa’kin. Ang saya! Ang ganda!” Vice expressed.

Still feeling overwhelmed with joy, Vice thanked Ion for continuously giving him unforgettable experiences, even years into their relationship.

“Thank you for making me experience so many firsts! I have never been treated like this in my entire life. Never have been loved like this.” Vice wrote.

“Thank you babe!!! Each day with you is Valentine’s! I love you Noi! @pereziion27,” he added.

Last weekend, Ion also posted photos from their date, expressing his love for Vice on Instagram.

“Kahit gaano ka kabusy alam kong ako ang huling destinat-ION mo! AY LAB YU @praybeytbenjamin,” Ion wrote.

Vice then replied, “My love and inspiratION. My choice and my decisION.”

During the Monday, February 17, episode of their noontime show, Vice briefly shared how he felt about their spontaneous celebration.

“Masaya ang Valentine’s noong araw na iyon, ako ang pinaka-Latina sa lahat! Sobrang sikip. Sumikip ang mundo, parang dalawa lang kami,” he expressed.

Celebrities such as Amy Perez, Jessica Villarubin, Tim Yap, and Showtime Online U hosts AC Soriano and Nicki Morena were quick to send their love to the couple in the comments section.

Stylist Liz Uy teased Vice, commenting, “Maka arte ka ha.” She also sent heart emojis for Vice.

Mariel Rodriguez also expressed her happiness, saying, “Awwww you deserve it meme ❤️ I’m so happy for you.”

Filipino drag performer Lady Gagita also said, “YOU DESERVE ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THIS WORLD!! ❤️ Ang tamis meme!!”

Vice and Ion’s relationship became public in October 2019, when Vice confirmed their romance after a Magpasikat performance on It’s Showtime. The couple took their relationship a step further in October 2021, tying the knot at The Little Vegas Chapel in Nevada, USA.

Last November, Vice made a heartfelt birthday tribute to Ion, saying, “Sa Birthday mo, sa Pasko at sa araw araw gusto ko ikaw ang pinakamasaya! Yan ang lagi kong dasal. Mahal na mahal kita! @pereziion27.”

Last Valentine’s celebration in 2024, Vice got emotional in a special tribute that his and Ion’s fans gave to them, highlighting their love journey since 2017.

“Grabe naman ‘to! Grabe ang iyak ko! Nagflashback lahat ng pinagdaanan namin,” Vice wrote.

“T*ng*na ang hirap! Pero ngayon ang sarap. Kahit di sumasang-ayon ang ibang tao umayon naman ang tadhana,” he added.
