13 Feb – After confessing about their relationship on “Gandang Gabi Vice”, Enrique Gil recently opened up about his romance with Liza Soberano on “Tonight with Boy Abunda”.

As reported on Push, the actor, who has been in a love team with Soberano since 2014, stated that he first realised that he has fallen for Soberano when he was in Australia.

“I was coming to Australia from a taping and had a tour with Gerald [Anderson]. For some reason, I just can’t stop thinking about her. So I called her up on the phone, and I said, “I don’t know, but maybe I love you”,” he said.

Gil stated that Soberano took a few seconds before telling him that she thinks she feels the same way as well.

“I was so happy, I was like, I’ve got to go back home…” he added.

The actor admitted that Soberano is always supportive if him, despite his previous controversy.

“I think she’s also one of the reasons why I’m still here. Because Liza’s here. My family is there.”

“Love is unexplainable. If I can really explain what love is, I don’t think that’s real love. You just can’t explain it. Liza is my life right now,” he said.
