Janine Gutierrez asks Grandma Pilita Corrales if she likes Jericho Rosales

MANILA – It seems like Rayver Cruz has won not just the heart of Janine Gutierrez, but her grandmother as well.

In her latest vlog entry on YouTube, Gutierrez sat down with her grandmother Pilita Corrales where they talked about the most random things including the actress’ relationship with Cruz.

During their conversation, Gutierrez asked Corrales if she likes her boyfriend.

Without hesitation, the legendary singer said: “Yes, I do. I like Rayver very much.”

Corrales then went on to explain why he likes Cruz and what she thinks of his relationship with Gutierrez.

“I also met the brother. Because I knew, and even before the mother died, I don’t think I ever met the mother, but I know that they are a very close-knit family. They are Catholics, they go to church every Sunday. Things like that. I liked him right away,” she said.

“He’s very respectful. He was telling me, ‘Mamita, finally. I think she’s gonna say yes to me na.’ He’s very nice, very talented. He sings. He’s such a wonderful dancer and I think you make a nice pair together,” she added.

It was in 2017 when Cruz and Gutierrez started dating.
