Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez delighted her fans by returning to vlogging with a new travel video on Sunday, taking viewers on a journey through her recent trip to Italy for the Venice Film Festival.

The new video “First Time In Venice,” which has garnered more than 42,000 views as of writing, marked Gutierrez’s vlogging comeback after two months.

“I know it’s been awhile but I’ve been busy being Iris for ‘Lavender Fields’ lately so vlogs are taking more time than usual,” she wrote in the video’s description, referring to her ongoing Kapamilya series which she also stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Jericho Rosales.

Gutierrez attended the film festival, which ran from late August to September, for the film “Phantosmia.”

In her vlog, Gutierrez showcased a fun and relaxed side of herself, with candid moments throughout her journey.

One of the highlights was her glamorous walk down the black carpet for the Venice Film Festival. She also took time to answer questions from the press, sharing her excitement and passion for Filipino cinema.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to be part of a local film that makes it to the global stage,” she said, beaming with pride.

Gutierrez also expressed her gratitude for being surrounded by like-minded creatives whose focus was on storytelling rather than commercial success.

“It’s really about these important stories that need to be heard, told from a uniquely Filipino point of view,” she said.

Toward the end of the vlog, Gutierrez filmed herself on the plane heading back home, visibly moved by the experience.

“I am just so thankful. The experience was incredible, and I’m so happy I get to share it with you. Thank you to everyone who has been messaging me on Instagram, supporting this whole trip. You know how important this is to me,” she said.

May started his showbiz career when he joined “Pinoy Big Brother: 737” in 2015.

In 2017, he became part of Now United which was formed by Simon Fuller, who famously created the reality TV phenomenon “American Idol” and managed the career of the Spice Girls.

But when the music went back, the group appeared to get confused and Stacey could be heard saying, “Let’s do it one more time.”

But the music continued and they finished the mashup of “Cherry on Top” and “Pantropiko” strong with a well-applauded dance break.

Boy band Alamat also had problems with their microphones during the start of their performance.

Billboard Philippines has yet to release a statement regarding the glitches.

Later Wednesday, SB19 thanked fans for watching their Billboard Philippines performance.

“A’tin, thank you for your energy and dedication even during unexpected challenges. Rest assured, we have noted and marked all the ways we can improve so we can deliver even better performances in the future,” the Kings of P-Pop said.

“Our most sincere gratitude to @BBPHOfficial for the continuous support and platform that continues to fuel our passion to keep pushing P-pop to new heights. Maraming salamat!”
