Jhong Hilario Jokingly Asks Kim Chiu About Interview
Earlier today, on May 3, 2024, Kim Chiu laughed off a question from her It’s Showtime co-host Jhong Hilario, who humorously asked if she could fit in an interview during the show’s opening segment. This came after her ex-boyfriend Xian Lim confirmed his new relationship.

During the noontime show’s opening, hosts Kim, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong welcomed Kim Hewitt, the grand winner of TNT Kids Season 2, who returned to perform on the program. Anne said, “We love all the Kims and we love you, Kimmy,” giving Kim a hug.

Vhong playfully asked, “Do you want to give us a sample, Kim?” To which Anne added, “What do you want to sing?”

Jhong then joked, “Do you want us to interview you?” Kim quickly replied, “No. Let’s not do that; it’s not pleasant.”

They did not press further on the topic regarding Kim and her ex, Xian. It was recently confirmed by Xian in an exclusive interview with Esquire Philippines that he is in a relationship with film producer Iris Lee.

Xian directly addressed the rumors, stating, “Yes, I’m seeing Iris. Just to clear everything, we are seeing each other and we are very happy.” He decided to speak out nearly five months after the controversial announcement of his breakup with Kim, aiming to clarify misconceptions surrounding their separation, which reportedly had no basis in reality.

On December 23, 2023, Kim and Xian publicly confirmed the end of their twelve-year relationship, describing it as a “mutual decision” without specifying the reasons.
