The local showbiz world is brimming with top-tier talents, and many of them jumpstart their careers in the industry at a young age. From the likes of Andrea Brillantes to Xyriel Manabat, the local showbiz scene has a pool of young artists with potential. One such promising young star is child actress Xia Vigor. Remember her?

Who is Xia Vigor?

Xia Vigor is a Filipino-British child actress who had her start in showbiz at around the age of five. Long-time Kapamilya fans will know Xia as the first ever winner of Mini Me 2, a segment in the long-running variety show It’s Showtime. After winning the segment, Xia appeared as a co-host of the show. Since being discovered in the noon-time show, Xia has starred in various TV projects such as Langit Lupa and Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids.

Fast forward to a couple of years later, Xia is just a year shy from entering teenhood! At 12, Xia has been keeping her followers updated with cute OOTD pics and selfies on Instagram. Acting-wise, Xia’s last project was in the 2019 local adaptation of the award-winning South Korean film Miracle in Cell No. 7 where she co-starred with veteran actors like Aga Muhlach, Joel Torre, John Arcilla, Mon Confiado, Tirso Cruz III, and more.

Despite laying low from television, Xia is very much active on social media. ICYDK, Xia also has a YouTube channel with over 100,000 subscribers. There, she posts life updates, behind-the-scenes clips of her projects, and just normal kiddie activities (a couple of videos center on making slime from a kit, so cute!). She also has a TikTok account with over 13,000 followers. Whether on social media or on TV, we’re excited to see what Xia has in store in the future!
