Myrtle rose to fame after she joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. Before she entered the PBB house, she was already joining cosplay events and continued this even after that stint in the Kapamilya show.

Currently, Myrtle is doing acting projects under the Kapuso network. She is part of the series My Ilonggo Girl featuring Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward as the lead actress. Previously, Jillian and Myrtle expressed praise for each other as they talked about their work dynamics on the set of their series.

Myrtle Sarrosa even shared that she sees Jillian Ward as a real-life version of her favorite mobile game character.

Speaking of games, Myrtle revealed in a recent interview on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that because of a guy, she spent P50K on a video game. She and her fellow former PBB housemate Keanna Reeves were asked the most expensive gift they gave to a guy.

Keanna revealed that she gave a guy a motorcycle. Aside from that, she also gave the guy shoes and a cellular phone. Myrtle, on the other hand, had a different form of generosity for a certain guy. She revealed that she spent so much on a game character’s skin.

“Gumastos ako ng skin, inabot P50,000, skin sa isang game, binigay ko,” Myrtle shared. In a game, skin refers to the costume or armor that a character wears. Some are free but some can be bought using in-game currency or real money. This goes to show how much Myrtle loves video games.

Meanwhile, in a previous statement, Myrtle revealed that because of video games, she lost her love life. She admitted that she lost her boyfriend because she chose to play games rather than be with him. The actress honestly told her boyfriend back then that she could no longer give more time to him because she preferred playing games. Aside from her acting career, Myrtle Sarrosa is also earning as a gamer.
