Lotlot de Leon reunites with mom Nora Aunor and meets her biological father for the first time

The actress dispels rumor that she went to the U.S. because she’s pregnant.

Actress Lotlot de Leon had a very fruitful vacation in the United States. First, she was able to meet her biological father for the first time. Second, she was reunited with her adoptive mother, Superstar Nora AunorLive na nag-guest sa Showbiz Central kahapon, January 3, si Lotlot de Leon. Kararating lang ng aktres mula sa ilang buwan niyang pagbabakasyon sa U.S.

“Super!” ang sagot ni Lotlot nang tanungin siya ni Pia Guanio kung paano niya ide-describe ang naging bakasyon niya.

Pero marami ang nagtataka kung bakit bigla siyang umalis at nagpunta sa U.S. Naglabasan tuloy ang mga speculations.

“I know… Matagal ko na talagang planong umalis,” sabi ni Lotlot. “Actually, since 2006 and even before that. Kaya lang, tuwing inaayos ko, palaging hindi natutuloy. Palaging may bulilyaso or nagkakatrabaho ako. So, I guess this is the perfect time for me.”

Inisa-isa ni Pia ang mga sinasabing dahilan kung bakit daw siya umalis. Una na rito, ang pagdadalang-tao niya raw at nagtago ito sa States.

“Sabi ko nga sa ‘yo, hindi na ako 16 years old. Ang pangit, e. Magtago ba?” natatawa niyang sabi. “At saka sana meron muna akong boyfriend or may magmahal muna sa akin nang tapat at lubos bago ako chumever nang ganyan! That’s not true. I don’t know kung sino ang nagsimula at kung ano ang rason nila maliban sa iba pang rason. No, it’s not true. Kung yun ang masaya para sa kanila, e, di go!”

MEETING HER REAL FATHER. Next reason, nagpunta raw siya sa States to track down her biological father. Is this true?

“Yeah, I met my biological father, 2006,” sagot ni Lotlot. “Actually, through the Internet lang. Since that time, palagi na kaming nagkakausap. He calls me up. Nagko-communicate kami. And I always wanted to meet him personally and this is one of the reasons why I left.”

Yun daw ang kauna-unahan pagkikita nila ng kanyang ama. How did it feel?

“It was such a blessing!” sambit niya. “You know, it was a great time for me to finally meet him. Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya, ‘Totoo ba ‘to?’ We hugged each other for a long time. He held my hands. Tinitingnan ko kung anong hitsura niya na meron ako. Kung kamukha ko ba siya sa ilong or sa mata. But you know, I was glad that I did meet him and I’m happy that that happened.”

Bakit nga ba napakaimportante sa kanya na all these times, kinailangan pa niyang hanapin sa Internet at makita face to face ang father niya?

“Noong mangyari yung sa Internet, nagbabakasakali lang ako,” banggit ni Lotlot. “Siyempre, I grew up as a child knowing that I’m adopted. Meron kang tanong na, ‘Sino kaya ang tatay ko? Sino kaya ang nanay ko?’

“So, after all these years, kami ni MyMy Davao, e, nagpunta kami ng Olongapo. Biglang sabi niya, ‘Lot, nandito na tayo, magtanong kaya tayo sa taas? Dun sa City Hall.’ So, sabi ko, baka nga they could help us with the names of relatives or whatever. And fortunately, si Mayor welcomed me.

“I got what I needed after a week. So, nag-search lang ako and then, his name came out. Nag-email ako. Pagka-email ko, sumagot. So, sabi niya sa akin, ‘Yes, I know you. Yes, I know you’re my daughter. I’ve always known about you. I’ve held you when you were a baby. I have pictures of you when you were growing up. I have pictures of your kids.’ So, sabi ko, ‘Oh, my!’” mahabang lahad ni Lotlot.

So, he’s been keeping track of your life?

“Yes, yes!” sagot ng aktres. “I’ve been waiting for him to say na, ‘Leave me alone. Or I don’t know you.’ But, he wasn’t like that. I think everything that happened, happened at the right time. Kasi, if it’s not meant to be, it won’t work out. But, it happened.”

REUNION WITH THE SUPERSTAR. Lotlot’s trip was all for family. Aside from meeting her biological father, Lotlot also got the chance to see her adoptive mother, Nora Aunor, and made peace with her. The last time daw na nakita niya ang Superstar ay noon pang 2003.

“E, ganun naman kami ng mommy ko, e. Minsan may tampo, minsan wala!” natatawang sabi ni Lotlot. “But you know, that’s what family is all about, regardless kung may tampuhan, masaya in good times and bad times. Family is family. And you know, I love all four of my parents. I have two moms and two dads. I love them unconditionally…”

Naayos ba nilang mag-ina kung anuman ang mga napagtampuhan nila in the past?

“Hindi na namin pinag-usapan kung anuman ang mga kaganapan ng mga nangyari,” sagot ni Lotlot. “I’m just so glad that mom picked up the phone when I called her and sabi niya sa akin, ‘Anak!’ So, that was it, ‘Wow, okay na kami!’ Yun lang, parang yung simpleng tinawag niya akong ‘anak’ at ‘Ma’ ang sagot ko. Parang yung kahapon lang kami huling nag-usap.

“I’m glad that I did go. My mom is okay, she’s happy. Ipinagluluto niya ako ng breakfast. She’s living a very simple life, a happy life, and a healthy life in the U.S. But she will and she wants to come home soon… that, we all look forward to.”

Meron bang mga bagay or promises that they made to each other para hindi na maulit ang tampuhan nila?

“Yeah, definitely!” sagot ni Lotlot. “Yung communication lines between my mom and me will be more okay and na-break na yung ano… I think, there’s more trust now. Alam naman ng mommy ko na mahal na mahal ko siya at alam ko naman na mahal na mahal din niya ako at mga kapatid ko. And that thing alone works for the better.

“Wala namang perpektong tao. Lahat naman tayo nagkakamali. Pero hindi tayo gumagawa ng isang bagay dahil gusto lang nating manakit. It just happens, you know. And regardless, kung ako may pagkukulang ako. Minsan siguro matigas din ang ulo ko, I’m stubborn, minsan ganyan. My mom loves me at ganundin ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya. So, okey na yun.”

Ano ang ginawa nila sa U.S.? Did they spend Christmas together?

“Yes we did. We junked together!” natatawang sabi ni Lotlot. “Lots of kuwento… Masaya, very simple. Meron pa nga akong naririnig sa mommy ko na, ‘Anak, tulog na.’ Minsan kasi nasa Internet pa ‘ko, may mga ka-chat or kinakumusta ko mga anak ko. Siya, ‘Anak, tulog na.’ Alam mo yun, yun ang na-miss ko sa mommy ko. ‘Opo, Mom, matutulog na po.’”

Ano ang message niya sa mommy niya?

“She knows already. She knows how much I love her. Ako, I’m speaking for my siblings and we’ll definitely look out for one another always, always.”

And for her biological dad?

“I love you very much. He knows that and I’m very grateful that I met him, and long life for him, and a healthy one also.”

THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON. Ayaw i-reveal ni Lotlot ang identity ng tunay na ama. Pero nakita ba niya ang kanyang ang sarili rito?

“Ikaw… nakita mo ang picture niya, what do you think?” balik-tanong ni Lotlot kay Pia.

“Puwede nga,” sagot naman ni Pia.

“He just made me laugh,” sabi ni Lotlot. “He’s such a good man. And you know, things happened, e. And he apologized so many times. But it’s okay, ganun talaga. Kung hindi rin naman nangyari yun, hindi ako mapupunta sa mommy ko. So, things happen for a reason.”

In-announce din ni Lotlot na marami silang planong projects ng kanyang ina this year.

“And I really think that 2010 will be a great, great year for us,” nakangiting sabi niya.
