Anne Curtis finally spoke up about the Snapchat controversy that involves her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith and her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff, which broke online this morning. Some people found Jasmine’s uploaded video clip of herself and Erwan a little too close for comfort. To add fuel to the fire, someone posted a screencap of Anne’s private account where she allegedly commented on the video sarcastically. On her public Twitter account, Anne posted her explanation on the issue to finally put an end to speculations about her sister and boyfriend.

‘This is the only time I will comment on this issue. So please STOP saying awful things about my sister & boyfriend,’ her tweet began.

The It’s Showtime host proceeded to say that what happened was an inside joke with her and friends at a party. Her private account was wrongly screencapped and they had to take down what they posted because people were beginning to react maliciously over it.

Anne reiterated that Erwan has known Jasmine since she was 13 and treats her like his own sister.
She further stressed how she’s saddened that such viciousness is being thrown at the people she loves.

In an earlier post, Erwan’s sister Solenn also reacted on the controversy saying people are crazy for thinking maliciously of her brother and Jasmin.
