It’s no secret that there is a rift between Carlos’s family and the couple. Both parties have aired their sides on social media, sparking public debate on honoring family or cutting out toxic people.

Chloe penned a sweet message for her partner in her Facebook post. She expressed how grateful she is to celebrate Carlos’s 25th birthday with him.

“To my favourite person in the universe and my heart’s biggest blessing, happy 25th birthday mahal ko Carlos 🥳🎂 I wish you nothing but the best and the fulfillment of every dream you hold close to your heart,” she wrote.

“I’m beyond grateful to love you, laugh with you, and grow with you—thank you Lord God. Here’s to more birthdays to come and celebrate together, forever,” she added.

While there were several birthday greetings written by netizens in the comment section, others couldn’t help but notice the absence of Carlos’s family in the photos.

“Hindi talaga niya invite yong familya niya,” a netizen wrote.

The social media influencer broke her silence and made sure to reveal why they didn’t see the need to invite the family.

“Why would you invite people to your birthday when they don’t even bother making an effort to greet and celebrate you, kung gusto mo yung mga ganong bisita sa birthday mo ikaw na lang sis,” Chloe responded to the netizen.

“Nagpapakasaya ka pero ang magulang mo d mo pinapansin…happy,” another netizen wrote.

“Yes sis happy si Caloy, which makes y’all haters shake and your blood boil lmao.

“Eh yung mga relatives niya kaya naisip mo ba if pinapansin/pinansin and binati man lang nila si Caloy? The double standard,” Chloe replied.
