Court denies Victor Consunji’s petition against Maggie Wilson

Maggie Wilson's feud with estranged husband Victor Consunji: A timeline

A court has ruled in favor of actress, model, and social media personality Maggie Wilson, dismissing a petition filed by her estranged husband, businessman Victor Consunji, for a temporary and permanent protection order under the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act.

Wilson shared the news on social media, expressing relief and gratitude over the decision. She revealed that Consunji’s petition, which sought to restrict her from communicating or seeing her son, Connor, was denied by the court.

“I’m starting 2025 with some GOOD news,” Wilson wrote. “The court found no credible evidence to support claims that I committed psychological violence against my son. My posts merely expressed the love and longing of a mother separated from her child—nothing more, nothing less.”

Wilson also highlighted that the case involved testimony from several individuals, including TV host Marc Nelson, her former co-host and Connor’s godfather. Nelson testified that Connor had expressed feeling emotional distress and discomfort due to Wilson’s social media posts about their situation. Wilson criticized the proceedings, noting that her 12-year-old son was required to testify, further subjecting him to stress.

In an excerpt Wilson shared from the court’s decision, the judge emphasized that as a mother, she has the right and duty to communicate with her son, adding that her actions did not constitute psychological harm.

Wilson thanked the court for what she described as a fair and just ruling. She posted a photo of herself with Connor, captioned, “My love for you is unwavering, standing strong against the tests of distance and time.”

Nelson later addressed the backlash he received for his testimony, clarifying his intentions. In a statement, Nelson explained that his priority was Connor’s well-being, not taking sides in the feud between Wilson and Consunji.

“Connor shared with me his discomfort regarding the public posts about him,” Nelson said. “At his age, he’s navigating new relationships and environments, and these posts draw unwanted attention. When called to testify, I simply relayed what Connor confided in me, nothing more.”
