Heart Aquino went viral after her statement about COMELEC (Commission on Elections) during the question and answer portion of It’s Showtime‘s beauty pageant segment.

In the said segment, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, the main host of the Kapamilya noontime show, asked her to give a message to Comelec. Heart admitted that she was not that knowledgeable about the agency, which surprised Vice, who said that it was “bothersome.”

Because of this, Heart became a trending topic on social media and inevitably she received bashing online. Amid the issue, Comelec chairperson George Garcia invited her to visit the agency.

On March 4, Heart Aquino visited Comelec and had a guided tour. Speaking about her visit, she said that she now knows the meaning of Comelec and its duties. She also asked the public to stop the bashing.

Based on the article in PEP, the viral It’s Showtime contestant was born as Denisse Heart Aquino Bach on August 24, 2004. She is turning 21 this year.

Heart was raised in Angeles City, Pampanga. Her mother is Filipina and her father is a German-American. However, in an interview during her Comelec visit, Heart shared that she is now an orphan. She shared in a TikTok post in October 2024 that she is a proud breadwinner for her family, referring to her brother and her grandmother.

The 20-year-old lady finished her junior high school education at Bonifacio V. Romero High School in Angeles City. She earned a certificate of recognition with high honors. After that, she went to Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF), a private, non-sectarian educational institution in Pampanga.

Currently, Heart is a freelance model. Most of her modeling stints are in car showrooms. She would represent brands at car and motor shows.

Heart Aquino is also an endorser of Touch and Glow Aesthetic Wellness Centre, which is mainly located in Pampanga. She is also fond of joining beauty pageants.

The viral It’s Showtime contestant is also an avid fan of the Drag Race Philippines franchise. She is also a fur mommy as she owns two Shih Tzus and three Ragdoll cats.
