Former Sexbomb Girls member Sugar Mercado revealed that she was in a seven-year relationship with TV host Willie Revillame, years after they were romantically linked to each other.
Mercado made the revelation in a recent interview with showbiz vlogger Ogie Diaz after she was asked about the real score between her and the show host in the past, and if they indeed dated for seven years.
The dancer-host was reluctant to directly admit the relationship because she said that the other party has yet to confirm it. She added that she had loved Revillame.
“Di ako sure. Di naman siya umamin. Kapal naman ng mukha ko kung aamin ako, hindi naman siya umamin. Baka mamaya nag-bonding lang kami,” she jokingly said.

“Hindi nakakahiya naman kung ako lang ‘yung ano, kababae kong tao. Kahit di ako mukhang babae, may heart rin ako. Okay naman ‘yon. Alam mo naman pribado siyang tao. Sabi ko nga never akong nagsisi sa lahat ng nangyari sa life ko at aminado naman rin ako na minahal ko talaga ‘yung tao, nang sobra pa,” she said.

Mercado also noted that her two kids were close to Revillame and sometimes would look for him from time to time.
“Oo naman lalo na ‘yung dalawang anak ko. At hanggang ngayon hindi na maaalis ‘yon sa buhay namin ng mga anak ko. Nasa puso na namin siya habang buhay. Wala naman akong masasabing hindi maganda sa kaniya kasi minahal niya talaga ‘yung mga bata,” she shared.

Mercado and Revillame were rumored to be in a relationship for years after they co-hosted the defunct variety game program “Wowowin.” The pair have denied the rumors over the years.
