Mark Herras Doesn’t Care About Batikos Dancing At Gay Bar, Wife Is Already Affected

Kapuso actor-dancer Mark Herras has given his opinion on the comments and reactions he received after he danced at a gay bar recently. In an episode of “Toni Talks” on Friday, January 31, Mark shared that he is no longer affected by other people’s opinions, and has accepted the reactions that came after the video of his performance went viral.

According to Mark, he was surprised when the video went viral and was happy that there were still people defending him. He said, “Actually, I was surprised that it went viral and then I was happy that someone defended me. There are other press that, you know, will still laugh while telling the story.” Mark was referring to people’s comments that seemed to make fun of him about his performance.

Mark added that he is no longer surprised and is not asking for mercy. He added, “I said, ‘Really? Are you making fun of me?’ I’m not asking for pity, but I’m at a stage in my life where I don’t care what people say.” Mark revealed that he has reached a point where he is no longer bothered or affected by hurtful words and comments from people. He points out that now he no longer expects validation from others, and the most important thing is his own happiness and peace.

Although he is not affected by negative reactions, Mark admitted that his wife is affected by comments about him. This has not escaped his wife, who is naturally concerned about other people’s opinions. “But of course, my wife, she is affected,” Mark concluded. Mark showed that even though he seems strong and unaffected by negative comments, there are people close to him, like his wife, who are affected by these issues.

His perspective and reaction reflect a mature and calm perspective on the controversies involving famous personalities, where a large part of their job is to be the subject of public opinion and commentary. Mark chose to remain silent and not respond to negative comments, a move that shows his maturity and courage in facing the challenges of his life and career.

Because of this, he gave a message of valuing his personal happiness and not giving importance to things that do not benefit his well-being. Despite the controversies, he chose to be open to the positive aspects of life and accepted the love and support of people who truly love him.
