Gordon Ramsay Drops Bombshell: Hell’s Kitchen & 3 New Restaurants Coming to the Philippines
Get Ready, Philippines! Gordon Ramsay Unveils Plans for Hell’s Kitchen and 3 New Restaurants
GORDON RAMSAY – Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has just unveiled his exciting plans to bring Hell’s Kitchen and three more world-class restaurants to the country, promising a culinary revolution like never before.
Renowned multi-Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay recently visited the Philippines for the first time since the opening of his namesake restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, at Newport World Resorts in Pasay City last August. The restaurant’s success has been overwhelming, with over 10,000 reservations in its first month, a clear testament to the Philippines’ love for the celebrated chef and his culinary expertise.
Ramsay was visibly moved by the support, explaining, “I think we were over 10,000 bookings in the first 30 days of opening, so there’s a testament to the support.” It’s this enthusiasm that prompted him to visit the country, and during his time in Manila, he experienced firsthand the passion Filipinos have for food.

Based on a report from Philstar, at a fan meet at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Ramsay interacted with fans, culinary students, chefs, and food enthusiasts. The event included a lively Halo-Halo cook-off featuring renowned chefs like Ninong Ry and Judy Ann Santos, which added a fun, interactive element to the gathering.
In addition to his public appearances, Ramsay announced exciting plans for the future, revealing that he is considering opening three more restaurants in the Philippines. Among these could be the country’s first-ever Hell’s Kitchen, further cementing his presence in the region.
Upon his arrival in the country, Ramsay visited his Bar & Grill at Newport World Resorts and expressed his admiration for the Filipino staff. He praised their dedication, sharing how he personally spent time with them in the kitchen, acknowledging their hard work, including those who travel long distances to work. “It’s very hard to open a restaurant that is fully booked from day one,” Ramsay said, emphasizing how the staff’s effort reminded him of his early days in the kitchen.

Ramsay’s visit left a lasting impression, and he expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. “I honestly think I’m more in love with Manila than they are in love with me,” he said, promising to return soon. The Philippines’ unwavering support and Ramsay’s evident fondness for the country ensure that this is only the beginning of a flourishing culinary journey in the region.
