Comedian-actress Rufa Mae Quinto revealed that no one has filed for divorce just yet between her and her husband, Trevor Magallanes. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, she shared several details of her marriage with her non-showbiz husband.

Rufa and Trevor tied the knot back in 2016 and moved to the US as private citizens.

It can be recalled that late last year, Trevor posted on his now-expired Instagram Stories that they are in the process of a divorce.

“You may be aware that divorce can be very devastating to the children but also to the parents. That said, my marriage has been a s*** show and I am sorry for that,” he previously shared.

In a new statement, Rufa revealed that nothing has been finalized yet as no one has filed for divorce. She added how tricky it could be as they tied the knot in the Philippines where divorce isn’t legal.

“Yung legalities, walang file ng divorce. Walang nag file. May anak din kami,” she shared.

The comedian-actress added that she is still hopeful that they can fix things as she doesn’t recall any major disagreement they had to call for a divorce.

Kasi laging nga akong wala so baka naman pwede lambingan muna…”

“There’s always two sides of the story pero naiintindihan ko din hindi naman siyempre puro ako lang yung tama. Siyempre siya din naman may reason din. We’re going through something,” she added.

Rufa maintained that they have never fought about money and it hasn’t been an issue for them as some netizens alleged on social media that this could be the reason for their separation.

In the end, Rufa humbled herself and revealed that she will agree to a divorce if Trevor really wants to cut ties with her romantically. Despite still being in love with her husband, she claimed that she is willing to let him go.
