Showbiz couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano are known for sharing several snippets of their family life on social media, often featuring their daughter, Isabelle Rose, whom they lovingly call Peanut.

Recently, Luis shared an adorable video of Jessy dancing with Peanut, expressing his love for the two in the post’s caption. While the comment section was initially filled with fans praising Peanut’s cute dance moves, one netizen pointed out that the little girl looked quite thin.

The comment did not go unnoticed, as Jessy replied: “2024 na but here you are still commenting on other people’s bodies.”

Other netizens came to her defense, pointing out that children’s growth often differs and that adults shouldn’t be judgmental about a person’s weight, especially children, since a person’s body type does not necessarily dictate their health.

Jessy recently returned to showbiz, signing a contract with Star Magic last July. Meanwhile, Luis currently hosts ABS-CBN’s game show Rainbow Rumble.
