Ervic Vijandre Faces Allegations of Physical Assault from His Brother

ERVIC VIJANDRE – Actor-politician Ervic Vijandre has been accused of physical assault by his own brother, sparking controversy and public scrutiny.

Ervic Vijandre has become the center of controversy after his own brother, Erwin, accused him of physical assault. The allegations surfaced on social media, where Erwin posted photos of his bruised face alongside a screenshot of Ervic greeting him on his birthday.

In his Facebook post, Erwin expressed his disbelief at his brother’s actions, writing, “Seryoso ka ba? Baka di mo alam kung gaanong trauma ginawa mo sa pamilya ko?” (Are you serious? Maybe you don’t realize the trauma you caused my family.)

Adding to the accusations, Erwin’s wife, Jaye, detailed the alleged assault in a separate Facebook post. She claimed the incident occurred on New Year’s Eve, stating that they initially chose to remain silent even though Ervic never reached out to check on Erwin’s condition.

According to Jaye, Ervic only apologized when they were at the police station and the Hall of Justice, pleading with Erwin not to press charges. Out of consideration, Erwin complied, preserving his brother’s public image. However, Jaye pointed out that after Ervic’s release from detention, he never made further contact with Erwin. Instead, he publicly greeted his brother on social media as if nothing had happened.

Jaye explained that they decided to come forward now to put an end to what they perceive as Ervic’s hypocrisy.

“I hope he gets our message to stop his hypocrisy and spare my family our sanity and peace of mind,” she wrote.

She further alleged that Ervic launched an unprovoked attack on Erwin, striking him multiple times on the head while his back was turned. She emphasized that their children witnessed the violent altercation, describing it as an attempt on Erwin’s life.

“He was mad and he let it all out on my husband because of his conflicts with his family,” Jaye added.

As of now, Ervic Vijandre has yet to issue a statement regarding the accusations.

This is not the first time Ervic has faced such allegations. In 2016, he made headlines after reportedly attacking a man unprovoked in Pasay City.

With the controversy gaining traction, the public awaits Ervic’s response to the serious accusations made against him.
