Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino have once again captivated audiences, making headlines with their steamy bed scene in the recent episodes of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?

Fans of the popular series and the beloved on-screen couple, affectionately dubbed “KimPau,” were quick to react online, praising the natural chemistry between the two stars.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Kim Chiu opened up about the scene that has everyone talking.

“Grabe, ganun sa Korea, ikaw talaga! Ginagaya lang namin. Siyempre may taste of Pinoy, ‘yun ‘yung taste! Charot!” Kim shared with a laugh, referencing the scene’s inspiration from its Korean drama counterpart.

She also admitted that it was the most challenging kissing scene she has ever performed in her career.

“Mahirap siya, ‘yun na ata ang pinaka-intense kong ginawa for my entire career,” Kim said.

The scene, which they did in just one take, showcased the seamless collaboration between Kim and Paulo. Fans were impressed with how natural the kissing scene appeared on screen, further fueling their admiration for the KimPau tandem.

Kim also shared how Paulo’s guidance was instrumental during the sensitive scene. “Inalalayan, nagpaalam naman siya, in so many ways. Dito ganito. May rehearsal naman kami, hindi namin ni-rehearse (yung kissing), ‘yung choreography, placing ng kamay, para sa sining, as an artist,” she said.

The careful planning and mutual respect between the actors were evident, contributing to the scene’s authenticity.

Kim and Paulo also appeared together at their first mall show in SM Masinag. The event, organized by Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN Events, was a treat for their fans.
