Alex Gonzaga Reactions To JC De Vera’s Revelation About ‘Offensive’ Question

An incident that happened between Alex Gonzaga and JC de Vera was recalled just recently



Actor JC de Vera revealed in a recent interview that he received an “offensive” question from actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga and a source revealed that this was the latter’s reaction to this.

Alex and JC worked together 14 years ago in a defunct show on TV5 titled Lokomoko. In an out-of-town shoot, JC arrived on set wearing a pair of shades. That was his first time meeting the her.

The actor shared that Alex asked him something which garnered mixed reactions from her. JC admitted that he didn’t whether to get angry or laughed at the question he received.

Alex Gonzaga asked JC de Vera if the pair of shades he was wearing was original. He didn’t know if that would make him feel upset or amused but definitely he felt offended. “Hindi ko rin alam kung intentionally ba niyang gustong punahin kung totoo ba yung shades ko o fake,” the actor added.

After that interview, news outlets picked up that JC’s statement, and somehow, this brought negativity to Alex’s name. PEP writer Jerry Olea said that some people commented that the actor need not bring that up because it already happened over a decade ago and they were both very young back then.

The writer added that Alex was put in a bad light because of this and this dismayed the people around the actress-vlogger. It was also said that people close to Alex were wondering why she was mentioned in that interview for JC’s new movie when she had no involvement in it.

Olea also said that those close to Alex said that they hope JC apologized because they were friends after all. They even worked together in the movie The Entitled in 2022 and they became friends after that incident.

Then, PEP writer Gorgy Rula shared that they wanted to ask Alex’s reaction to this but people close to her said that she would definitely avoid that this issue would blow up. However, they knew that Alex was hurt by what JC said because she considers him as one of her friends.

“Napag-alaman naming nag-reach out si JC kay Alex, pero hindi lang namin tiyak kung sinagot siya o nagkausap silang dalawa,” Rula added.
