Paolo Contis says he is single amid breakup rumors with Yen Santos

In his ‘Fast talk with Boy Abunda’ interview with Kokoy de Santos, Bubble Gang comedian Paolo Contis revealed he is now single.



Paolo confirmed this on Thursday’s Fast Talk with Boy Abunda during the “Fast Talk” segment.

When asked to choose between single or taken, Paolo chose the former.

Paolo went public with his relationship with Yen Santos in January 2023, after admitting they are dating. He also defended Yen against third-party allegations and said she was not the reason for his and ex-partner LJ Reyes’s separation.

  Did Paolo Contis just confirm he’s single?

Paolo Contis intrigued fans after he seemingly hinted at being single, amid rumors of his breakup with actress girlfriend Yen Santos.

Contis said this during his guesting on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” alongside fellow actor-comedian Kokoy de Santos on Thursday, Nov. 14.

The two actors took on the Fast Talk segment and were asked by show host Abunda: “Para sa inyo, single or taken?”

Contis took a pause and let De Santos answer first.

“Single” was the younger actor’s answer, which was then followed by Contis’ response: “Single.”

Contis did not immediately expound his answer. Interestingly, the actor also did not mention Santos in the interview, which mostly discussed his stint as a “Bubble Gang” cast member.

Contis confirmed his relationship with Santos in January 2023, then declared months later that he planned on marrying Santos sometime in the future.

Speculations of their breakup arose last May after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram.

When asked about the status of their relationship at the time, Contis said, “As I always say, masyado na kayong may alam sa buhay ko so I’d like to keep my personal life personal.” (As I always say, you already know too much about me so I’d like to keep my personal life personal.)

Santos, for her part, has been mum on the matter.
