An older Judy Ann Santos has this reaction to people who call her “siopao”

A-list actress Judy Ann Santos shared the message that she will give to her eight-year-old self regarding life and her physical attributes.



Judy Ann started her career in the entertainment industry at a young age. She was first known as a child star in the 90s. Eventually, she transitioned into a teen star and was known for her drama teleseryes.

Juday is now considered one of the most prominent drama actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the A-list star shared what she would say to her younger self.

Judy Ann Santos started her acting career when she was just eight years old. Talking to her younger self, she would tell her, “Na maganda ang buhay.” She also said that her younger self should know that life is colorful and she would just be surprised what her destiny would be.

Juday would also remind her younger self that everything would be okay and that what she was worried about would not happen with the realization that having a beautiful family was given to her because she did not experience this as a young girl.

She also said that she just wanted to remind the younger Juday that be happy in life and stressed that working early in the entertainment industry was never an issue for her.

“At saka bata pa ako, hindi ko pa siya alam prosesuhin, nagtrabaho ako, na-busy ako, so para kay eight years old na Juday, ‘Enjoy-in mo lang kung paano mo in-enjoy ang pangkalahatan,’” she said.

For her, the pain she was feeling during her younger days would just be a source of her laughter now that she is older.

With a bit of jest, Judy Ann Santos said that she would also tell her younger self what should be her reaction to those who described her as “siopao” because of her chubby cheeks. She would remind herself that she would eventually lose that weight.

“May mga bagay na mangyayari sa iyo na hindi mo ine-expect, at saka, ‘Day, maniwala ka’t sa hindi, liliit ang mukha mo pagtanda mo! Ha! Ha! Ha! Gaganyanin mo yung mga nagsabing siopao, ‘Haler!’ Hahaha! At papayat ka in time, kapit ka lang, Juday,” the A-list actress said.
