Denise Julia showed screenshots of conversations that took place between her and BJ Pascual’s managers

Singer Denise Julia broke her silence on the issue she had with celebrity photographer BJ Pascual.

To recall BJ was asked on a podcast about the rude experience he had with a client. He mentioned the name of the R&B singer and narrated his story about this. The photographer said that the singer’s camp cancelled the shoot a few days before it happened.

He also said that there was no apology or thank you message from the singer’s camp after that. BJ added that they were not paid with the cancellation fee.

Because of this, Denise Julia’s name became a trending topic on social media and she received criticism from netizens. Amid this issue, netizens also recalled the past experience that BJ had with actress Kristine Hermosa when they did a photoshoot for a magazine.

On December 25, the R&B singer broke her silence. On her Instagram Stories she shared screenshots of conversations between her and BJ’s manager. She explained in a video that her manager gave a target budget of P650,000 for the shoot and the music video since BJ presented to the latter as well, as he wanted to try doing MVs also.

It was said that BJ’s camp did not get back to them about whether the budget they submitted was feasible. The singer said that BJ’s camp sent a budget sheet stating that they require an amount of P1.2 million and this was submitted three days before their supposed scheduled shoot.

Her manager even stretched it to P800,000 for just two layouts without the music video because she really wanted to work with BJ and it has been her aspiration to have a project with him.

Denise Julia also clarified that it was not her team who cancelled the shoot. She showed a screenshot showing that BJ’s manager cancelled this because of their “due to the differences in our production processes.” “I think it would be best to cancel the shoot,” BJ’s manager said.

The singer also said that she reached out to BJ after the podcast was released and the photographer agreed that they would have a private conversation about this issue.
