Kris explains why she avoids mentioning James Yap in public

LOLIT Solis’s Instagram post caught Kris Aquino’s attention so the latter shared why she chooses not to mention James Yap in public and what her sons Josh and Bimby did during Mother’s Day.

Lolit shared a photo of former couple Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion and said that former couples should stop associating with each other, especially if they are now living their lives separately. Lolit used Kris Aquino’s situation with ex-husband James Yap as an example.

“Kung bakit big deal pa rin kung batiin o hindi ni James Yap si Kris Aquino ng Happy Mother’s Day. Hindi ba dapat pag hiwalay na, cut all connections na? Hindi ba dapat matanggap natin na ayaw na nila magsalubong pa ang landas? Puwede silang civil sa isa’t isa, puwede din maging friends kung gusto nila pero kung mas gusto nila iyon walang pakialaman bakit natin pipilitin,” Lolit wrote.

Kris gave a lengthy comment and explained the real purpose of Mother’s Day for her and as to why she chose to keep mum.

“Sorry Nay, hindi big deal sa ’kin at all. Now ko lang nabasa ang post mo. Mother’s Day for me will always be foremost about my mom,” she said.

“I never refer to Bimb’s father in my posts because I believe pag tahimik na lang ako, walang hahabang issue. Dumaan ang mga birthday namin & I chose to shut up. Because we do lead very separate lives and siguro kilala mo na ko enough – kung saan mas ma ha-happy si Bimb – dun ako,” she added.

She then shared that she had one issue with her son Bimby who had a witty comeback for his mom.

“Si Gerbel & Bincai may magandang H&M na jumpsuit na Mother’s Day gift nila sa kin. I told Bimb, how come sila ni kuya walang surprise? May sense naman ang sagot niya, ‘Mama, what can we give you that you don’t have yet?’” she wrote.
